Chatting With Jillian Leff

Jillian’s work brings attention to how help art is to one’s self. Once she becomes fixated on a particular topic or idea, she works through her obsession by creating a play around the concept. The healing felt during the creation of her works blooms into the characters she designs meticulously to represent the life she lives everyday. The characters carry with them a warmth that coupled with sharp honest dialogue make them feel alive. Its inevitable that one will attach themselves to the character’s stories and follow them listlessly like watching a play unfold about your bestfriend or family member. In the following chat, Jillian will expand on her artistic statement and share what the three plays featured on PP&C mean to her.

Under this month’s chat, we have a gallery of photos taken from some of the produced works by Jillian Leff. Please enjoy scrolling through these evocative stills from Jillian’s creations.
